C2, also known as Punter, is a protocol for file transfer developed circa 1985 by Steve Punter. It is optimized for transferring files stored on Commodore computers, whose DOS treats executable, sequential, and random-access files differently. Unlike the earlier C1 protocol, C2 was capable of batch transfers.
