Small TextBye Bye Monkey (It: Ciao maschio, Fr: Rêve de singe) is 1978's Marco Ferreri film, starring Gérard Depardieu, Marcello Mastroianni, James Coco and Geraldine Fitzgerald, about a man who brings King Kong's orphaned son to the city to raise it. It was filmed in English and shot in Long Island. As this was a French-Italian co-production, there were French and Italian dubbed versions made for their respective countries' theatrical releases.

The film was nominated "Selection Officiel (Official Selection)" for Cannes Film Festival 1978, and received Grand Prix of the Jury with Jerzy Skolimowski's The Shout.
