From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ISO 3166-2:BY is an ISO standard which defines geocodes: it is the subset of ISO 3166-2 which applies to Belarus. It covers the 6 voblasts (provinces). The capital city of Minsk is contained within the province of the same name.

Each two-part code consists of the ISO 3166-1 code for Belarus (BY) and a 2-character sub-code, hyphenated together.
