"By Inferno's Light" is a fifth-season episode of the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The second half of a two-part episode, it is most notable as the point where the Dominion began its invasion of the Alpha Quadrant. It features the return of several familiar faces, drawing on plot lines from the third-season " Improbable Cause " and " The Die is Cast ", the fourth season, and fifth-season opener " Apocalypse Rising".
Quick Overview: Gul Dukat aligns the Cardassians with the Dominion; meanwhile, the station must deal with a Changeling infiltrator.
