Brian W. Ogilvie (*Kalamazoo, MI, USA, 19 Feb 1968). Associate Professor of History at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Specialist in the cultural history, intellectual history, and history of science in Renaissance and early modern Europe. Author of articles and The Science of Describing: Natural History in Renaissance Europe (Chicago: University of Chicago Press, 2006).
