[edit] Image Tagging Image:Kor-f111.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Kor-f111.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. feydey 14:49, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Added source information (USAF Photo Archives) to the F-111 image as requested. - bwmoll3
[edit] RAF Polebrook
Just wanted to say that RAF Polebrook looks pretty professional. I'm not familiar with the material but it looks rather nice. Good work! Isopropyl 11:25, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Air Force work
Great stuff with all the work you've done on cold war USAF history. When you're uploading images in the future, might I suggest that you use this license: {{PD-USGov-Military-Air Force}} instead of the US Government standard license, as its more accurate. You don't need to select anything in the pull-down list of licenses, just paste that into the image discription when you're on the uploading screen. all the best, Cornell Rockey 20:06, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Eielson Air Force Base
Fantastic work with this page! I would love to submit this article for peer review, but there are some things that need to be done first. We need to cite all possible references and link to them within the article. We could also expand the article a bit, maybe listing more about the operations of other groups and squadrons on the base. Are you currently stationed here? Anyway, as a suggestion, there is a license template that would be more appropriate for military badges: {{PD-USGov-Military-Badge}} Kajmal 00:06, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Airplane images
Image:41tews-eb66.jpg and others, could You add the URL You copied the images from to the image summaries. Thanks, feydey 16:22, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cam Ranh Airport
I (actually my stupid sockpuppet did it because I forgot to change browsers) moved the Cam Ranh Airport back to it's own article as it is an operational airport and should really have it's own article. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 12:32, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Alternate Udon Thani / Udorn Thani spellings
Hi
I think Udon Thani International Airport is "correct" for Wikipedia, not Udorn Thani International Airport - but if not, you'll need to rename Udon Thani, Udon Thani Province and Diocese of Udon Thani too...
[edit] Presented for your outstanding contributions
Your work on these pages is nothing short of spectacular. Well deserved and please keep it up.--Looper5920 12:52, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image tagging for Image:21tass.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:21tass.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] RAF bases in England
I have noticed that you have main a large contribution to RAF bases in England. I am currently writing an article on RAF Davidstow Moor. Do you have any information or an aerial photograph of the base? --Benjaminevans82 22:05, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Usafeuk-2006.jpg
I like your pic showing all active duty USAF bases on the UK... but it is missing RAF Menwith Hill and RAF Welford. Jazznutuva 12:17, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:A-7d-69-6241-nellis.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:A-7d-69-6241-nellis.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:04, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV tag on Strom Thurmond
You keep trying to put an {{NPOV}} tag on this article. It is being reverted by another user. A better way to go about this is to discuss your reasons for the tag on the article's talk page. JChap2007 23:40, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Remember
Don't forget the common rule, "I before E, except after C"
You're work on the article List of units using the A-7 Corsair II is strongly appreciated (you really konw your stuff), but don't forget to look out for common typos. I had to change "recieved" to "received" at least 30 times.
Thanks for your contributions!--Renegade Replicant 00:07, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
