Buzz Poets
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Buzz Poets were a Pittsburgh based rock band between 1996 - 2003.
They gained popularity in 1997-98 when the song "Copenhagen Girl" was being played heavily on Pittsburgh radio stations WDVE 102.5-FM and WXDX 105.9-FM.
The band was notorious for onstage shenanigans like having a "dancing dentist" dress up in wild costumes and dance around the stage. Their wild antics, mixed with their eclectic music style kept clubs packed in the Pittsburgh area, and even won the band a spot on the Vans Warped Tour in 1999.
