Buy Beer (Beavis and Butt-Head Episode)

Buy Beer is the title of an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head, and the final episode of Season 6.

The episode begins with Beavis and Butt-Head watching TV when they see an ad for a non-alcoholic beer, which prominently notes that you do not have to be 21 to purchase some. The duo, however, completely miss the reason why and decide to purchase some with the intention of getting drunk. The Maxi-Mart clerk almost stops them from making the purchase before noticing the actual contents of the beverage they choose, and allows it. Butt-Head, however, remains under the impression that his excuse of leaving their ID's in their truck worked.

Outside, the duo actually taste the "beer". Both are evidently disgusted by the content of the drink, but ignore it as they come to the conclusion that, after one sip, they have already become intoxicated. At this point, a police officer arrives, seeing the duo apparent drunk. The two fail a sobriety test in style, with Butt-Head failing to recite the alphabet backwards by first trying to say it in proper order with "A, B...A". The police officer confiscates their drink, but sees its non-alcoholic contents, dismissing the two as being "just stupid" before driving away.

Seeing their apparent failure to become intoxicated, Butt-Head suggests drinking more, to which Beavis agrees.
