A business conference is an event organized by an association, individual, publication or private company for the purpose of networking, education or to discuss a business topic with a range of speakers.
They can also be organized by either a non-profit or for-profit organization. The latter is called a conference company.
Business conferences are often held at convention centers and large hotels with conference facilities.
Business conference planning is an industry also known as "meeting planning."[1]
