Burt Young

Burt Young (born April 30, 1940) is an American actor.

Born Jerry De Louise to an Italian family in New York City, Young was trained by Lee Strasberg at the world-famous Actor's Studio.

Young made his name playing rough-edged, working class Italian-American characters, the best known example being his signature role, as Sylvester Stallone's brother-in-law Paulie in Rocky, in 1976, for which he was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar. He reprised the role in all five of the hit movie's sequels. He has played similar roles in Chinatown, Convoy, The Pope of Greenwich Village, Once Upon A Time In America, and Last Exit to Brooklyn.

Young has also appeared in many television programs, including Baretta, Law & Order and The Sopranos.

In 2006 Burt Young was in a Movie called "The Hideout", Directed by Pupi avati. His role was a Realestate agent. He was amazing.Ephodslabs 04:44, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

This Picture was on the set one day with crew member and Graphic artist Frank Hoffmaster on the set of "The Hideout" Frank Hoffmaster asked Burt Young to Hit him because he would like to start a collection of famous people punching him. Burt said he thought that would be funny. It was an exceptionaly hot day that day.
