Burnley Wood

Burnley Wood, in the Borough of Burnley, Lancashire, is part of the Single Regeneration Budget Round 6 (SRB6) initiative, which commenced in 2000.
Part of the area has been designated as a housing focus area and this is where housing action will be concentrated.
The housing focus area consists essentially of pre-1919 housing. In broad terms it lies between Parliament Street in the north and Stoney Street in the south, and from the railway in the west to Todmorden Road in the east.
The housing focus area now extends beyond the boundaries as set out in the above paragraph and takes in parts of Fulledge and Healywood, a new community park is now being built in the centre of the clearance area.
