Burnaby Lake Rugby Club

The Burnaby Lake Rugby Club (BLRC) is a rugby union club in Canada. It was born of the merger of the Vancouver Trojans Rugby Club and the Burnaby Buffalos Rugby club in 1994. Since the merger BLRC has risen to become one of the top competitive rugby union clubs in British Columbia. As a result of its success, a number of BLRC athletes have received representative honours with both British Columbia and Canada.

[edit] Senior Men's

BLRC fields four Senior Men's teams (Premier XV, First XV and Second XV) in the A division of the Vancouver Rugby Union. Burnaby's premier XV recently finished in the quarter finals of the 2005/2006 CDI Premiership.

BLRC is represented in the Premier division of West Coast Women's League. In 2003 & 2006 the BLRC Senior Women won the BC Women's provincial final.

BLRC facility consists of two dedicated match pitches and a lit practice field. The clubhouse is situated at the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex in Burnaby.
