Burke is a ghost town in the Shoshone County. It has a year round population of 0. The town was once a thriving silver and lead town with a population of almost 2,500 it was in a canyon only about 300 feet wide and the town was so long that when they built the hotel it has 2 railroads 1 road and 1 stream running through the lobby!!!
