[edit] Synopsis
Rakesh (Abhishek Bachchan) is a small-town boy who dreams big. He leaves the small town where he grew up for the bright lights of Lucknow. There he meets Vimmi Saluja (Rani Mukerji), who has come from her own small town pursuing dreams of becoming a supermodel. They cooperate to con a man who has cheated Rakesh, and discover that they can succeed -- as con artists. They adopt new names (Bunty and Babli), and become famous for their audacious schemes.
Things get complicated when Babli becomes pregnant and wants to give up their life of crime, following a narrow escape from the police. However, DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) Dashrath Singh (Amitabh Bachchan), is hot on their trail. Will they turn legit? Can they evade the law? All ends well, not without some surprising twists.
