Talk:Bump (pricing game)

[edit] Weird tidbit

This link provides even more telling detail about the game's fate. I also seem to recall a page and a photograph (though not there) about a contestant's attempt at "bumping." It was definitely fun to watch while it was around. Messy Thinking

It's interesting, but it's also wrong. Bump was actually retired sometime in November of 1991, a full year and a half before Dian left the show. It actually seems like it was retired pretty abruptly...there are several shows in late '91 and early '92 where it's in the planned lineup but the actual episode has 1 Right Price subbed in. Additionally, Switch? seems to have debuted just as suddenly three months later -- its earliest playings actually replace other 2-prize games in planned lineups (off the top of my head, its debut replaced Barker's Bargain Bar). -TPIRFanSteve 02:48, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Similar to 1 Right Price?

I know you may disagree with me. However, I can prove that a similarity to 1 Right Price is the two buses (each closest to each model at each side) with similar prices. Does anybody notice between these two? --Gh87 19:21, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
