[edit] The Basics, and How I Got Here
My name is Bullzeye. I'm an active-duty infantryman in the US Army who resides in Falls Church, VA and works on Fort Myer, VA (just a stone's throw from the Pentagon and DC). I'm a new addition to the Wikipedia family, having used Wiki for information and entertainment purposes for awhile now. One of my favorite activities was to pick a random topic that interested me, and while reading it pick an interesting direct link to another topic, and so on, just to see how far from the original topic I'd end up. My record thus far began with the trial of Adolf Eichmann and 2 hours later ended with Rastafarianism. Don't even ask, because I honestly can't remember :-)
In my browsings I eventually found an article about Winchester Black Talon ammunition that was so poorly (and inaccurately) written and offensive to my gun-expert psyche that I took it upon myself then and there to fix it. This was my first (and thus far only) article edit (although it was really more of a complete rewrite, the original was so bad).
I hope to produce more material soon. In the meantime, here's the rest of me:
[edit] My Job
I am an 11B by Army MOS (Military Occupational Specialty), which makes me an Infantryman. However, for over a year now I've been the Chief Armorer of my company. Basically, I'm responsible for a vast array of rifles, carbines, grenade launchers, and machine guns, and I spend all day either fixing them, writing paperwork in regards to fixing them, or shouting at people to not break them (so I don't have to fix them).

I'm a High School graduate, and have attended (and graduated from) US Army Basic Training, Advanced Infantry Training, Parachutist (Airborne) School, and Unit Armorer Technical School. I also hold an accredited civilian gunsmithing certification from Thompson Education Direct which I got in my spare time to shore up my resume. I hope to one day get my MBA and use my interest and knowledge of firearms to achieve a management position in the industry.

I've been into guns my whole life. My first gun ever was a H&R .22LR Leatherneck autoloader. I began building my personal collection on my 18th birthday (took posession of a Mosin-Nagant M44 and a Mossberg 500 12-ga. the day they came in my from the wholesaler), broadened it to include handguns when I turned 21 (currently I own 9) and continue to enlarge it whenever my finances allow and the mood strikes me. I've been told I'm the Imelda Marcos of guns, to which I usually point out she was rich and I'm just sans-dependents. Besides, you can't kill people with shoes.
Oh, I'm also into writing, reading, PC gaming, The History Channel, and laying around in my underwear with a can of Guinness on my belly.
