Bull and Bush

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bull and Bush is a public house near Hampstead Heath in London which gave its name to the music hall song "Down at the old Bull and Bush".

Near to the pub was the site of the proposed North End tube station (aka Bull and Bush) on the Northern Line of the London Underground but only the platforms were excavated, with the station construction being cancelled. The nearest station now is Golders Green.

The interior was renovated in 2006 to a modern style with an openly visible kitchen and reopened to the public on 24th March. The Bull and Bush is now one of the only completely smokefree pubs in London.
