- Buke (Turkish: Büke) is a Turkish given name. Although it is unisex, most people named Buke are females. The name has several meanings. Some of them are; wise, old person; bride; or the dragon with seven heads in an old Turkish epic.
- Buke is the name of a character in Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov's book The White Ship.
- In Japanese History, Buke means the upper, privileged class such as samurai , bushi, or onna bugeisha. Note that buke is a gender neutral term unlike samurai or onna bugeisha and is a generalization for the upper class.
