Bugdom and the sequel Bugdom 2 are third-person action/arcade game made by Pangea Software. Although the player's avatar is different in each game, which follow different story lines, both avatars are insects and the gameplay world is seen at the size an insect would see it as.

[edit] Bugdom
The player guides Rollie McFly the Woodlouse, to save the insect Kingdom from evil ants by restoring ladybugs, which are the rightful rulers. Developed for the Macintosh and included with the iMac DV 2000 and later iBook models. Bugdom was later ported to the PC with apparent battles of software publishing rights that kept the game from being properly distributed in computer stores.

- Level 1 - Takes place in a field. It is the easiest level and contains only minor enemies (such as army ants and slugs).
- Level 2 - The general landscape is similar to Level 1, though much larger, and there is quite a bit of water to navigate while ants throw rocks at the player from above.
- Level 3 - Takes place next to a lake. New enemies appear, including water ticks and mosquitos. The player can ride a water strider reminiscent of a water taxi.
- Level 4 - Feet of humans try to squish the player's avatar en route to ant territory. Bees, caterpillars, and spiders appear for the first time. The player rides on a dragonfly for part of the level, but cannot fly too high.
- Level 5 - Defeat the first boss, the beehive by shooting at it from the back of the dragonfly.
- Level 6 - Inside the beehive, one encounters worker bees and larva.
- Level 7 - Defeat the Queen bee.
- Level 8 - At night. Journey to the ant king's palace. Fire-breathing ants and Toxic Gas Roaches appear for the first time.
- Level 9 - Traverse the ant hill. It is filled with ant enemies and water, which must be crossed by swinging on roots.
- Level 10 - Fight and defeat the ant king, Thorax.

Bugdom 2 follows the adventure of a grasshopper named Skip as he tries to recover his stolen backpack.Sam the Snail and Sally the Chipmunk assist him. The game was available for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.
