Buena Vista is an unincorporated community in Amador County, California. Its elevation is 272 feet (82 m) and it is located at .
Buena Vista is the site of a small Miwok Indian reservation called Buena Vista Rancheria, which has been involved in a legal dispute with regards to the establishment of an Indian gaming casino on its grounds. Amador County contended that the rancheria was never a federally recognized reservation and thus could not qualify for a casino location. The issue is pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
