Budha
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Hindu mythology, Budha (not to be confused with Buddha) is the name for the planet Mercury, a son of Chandra (the moon) with either Tara or Rohini.
The planet is associated with Wednesday in Indian timekeeping. In modern Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, and Gujarati, Wednesday is called Budhvara; in Tamil and Malayalam it is Budhan.
