[edit] I have dealt with CoolKatt
G'day Buckner 1986,
thanks for bringing CoolKatt's latest actions to my attention. The 3RR report is not one I'm too concerned about, since it's about actions he's not currently performing — however, he has been editing disruptively, and immediately after his previous block for the same thing expired, too. I have blocked him for 48 hours. Now, speaking of blocking ...
I see you're still referring to non-vandalistic edits (including, interestingly, one of my own edits) as "vandalism", despite repeated warnings from several different people. This is incivil and really rather annoying. I think you'll have a much easier time of it if you go away for twenty-four hours and think about the wisdom of accusing non-vandals of vandalism and non-sockpuppeteers of making sockpuppets. Accordingly, I've now blocked you for those twenty-four hours. I suggest you think of it, not as a block, but more as an opportunity. Happy thinking! fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 17:29, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletions
Hi. You recently tagged a large number of articles about TV reporters and other personalities for speedy deletion, on the basis of the criteria A7: Unremarkable people or groups/vanity pages. As described here, articles should only be deleted under this criteria "if there is no remotely plausible assertion of notability". TV personalities (even if they are little known and appear on little known channels) do not fall into this category, so I have removed the tags. You may want to consider listing them on WP:AFD instead. Thanks TigerShark 17:49, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- I notice that you re-added a speedy deletion tag here after it has been removed by an admin. This was probably a mistake, but please do look list the articles on WP:AFD rather than re-adding the speedy tags. Cheers TigerShark 17:58, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Anchor-cruft
Hey, I've made a general AFD page for multiple articles that are anchor-cruft. Judging by your recent involvement, you might be interested. JianLi 04:30, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WWCP-TV
I am telling you, I am not vandalizing this aritcle. I am making it better by cleaning it up. You insist on reverting to the pre-cleanup version. Please read WP:VAN to see what vandalism is and is not, and WP:MOS for more on why I am editing this article. And also, stay away from any article I edit, you are violating WP:STALK. CoolKatt number 99999 03:28, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- And also, I am not vandalizing any articles like you say I am. CoolKatt number 99999 03:34, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries
Contributing to your last block was a problem with civility, edit summaries such as your recent batch "Reverted edits by CoolKatt number 99999, a known vandal" haven't improved, continue this way and you are likely to find a longer block involved. There is an expectation that users will behave in a mature and constructive manner, irrespective of how frustrating you find the other user or how much you feel they aren't doing that. As is stands it wouldn't suprise me if I don't end up seeing all of you blocked for the continued disruption you all cause. --pgk(talk) 06:30, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- I would also suggest that if you are reverting merely based on the name of the editor then it is you who is vandalising... --pgk(talk) 06:44, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] blocked again
G'day Buckner 1986,
when we say "be civil", "don't make personal attacks", "don't accuse others of vandalism in your edit summaries", etc., we mean it. There is no excuse for this sort of behaviour, particularly as a block for this very behaviour expired only yesterday. I've blocked you for a further forty-eight hours. Please use the time to consider whether it's really worth being so incivil on this project. Cheers, fuddlemark (befuddle me!) 09:32, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Request for edit summary
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. – Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 01:04, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pathfinder
You might want to watch The Price Is Right this coming Tuesday, August 8. They'll be rerunning the March 29, 2006 episode, which contains one of the perfect Pathfinder wins that you accused me of making up back in June.
Just thought you might like to know. -TPIRFanSteve 16:28, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Robb Hanrahan and Roz Abrams WABC September 2001.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Robb Hanrahan and Roz Abrams WABC September 2001.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 23:49, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
