Bu Zhi(步骘), styled Zishan(子山), was a scholar of the kingdom of Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. He served as an advisor along with other scholars like Zhang Zhao, Gu Yong, Xue Zong etc.

Prior to the Battle of Chibi, the officials serving Sun Quan were locked into an argument whether to surrender to Cao Cao and his mighty army or to resist and fight back. Bu Zhi, along with Zhang Zhao and the scholars, advocated surrender while the military officers argued that they should fight back with all their might.

Later, Zhuge Liang arrived in Wu and had a debate with the scholars of Wu, defeating every single scholar who challenged him. Bu Zhi was one of them. In the end, Zhuge Liang managed to convince Sun Quan to fight back Cao Cao and not surrender. Sun Quan drew his sword and sliced off one of the table's legs with it, then he said "Whoever who dares to speak of surrender shall end up like this table!". Thus, Bu Zhi and the other scholars had no choice but to submit to Sun Quan's decision to fight back.
