Bu Xiangzhi

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Bu.

Bu Xiangzhi (born December 10, 1985) is a Chinese chess player. He became a Grandmaster in 1999 at the age of 13 years, 10 months, 13 days, making him the youngest person to that date to have held the title. He gave up status of the world's youngest Grandmaster to Sergey Karjakin in July 2002. On the October 2006 FIDE rating list, he has an ELO rating of 2671, making him the number 37 player in the world, and highest rated player in China.
