BT Archives is an archive preserving the documentary heritage of British Telecom and its public sector predecessors.
It is a major resource for genealogy and family history as it contains a near-complete set of United Kingdom telephone directories from the first one in 1880.
It is based in the former Holborn Telephone Exchange in the Holborn area of central London.
