Brymbo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brymbo is a village and also a ward of the county borough of Wrexham.
The former Brymbo Steel Mill was a prominent industry for the village and much of the surrounding area.
Many churches have been closed in Brymbo; however St Mary's (built in 1872) and the Tin Chapel (English Methodist Church) remain.
An important archaeological find was made in 1958 by workmen digging a pipe trench - the remains of Brymbo Man, dating back to the early Bronze Age, around 1600BC.
