General comment & info.. He's about as liberal as one can get. He makes a point of asking students not to tape record his lectures because he does not want someone to be able to play portions of them out of context (he might be pretending to be pro-cannibalism and engage students in a debate about it, in an effort to force students to give arguments based on reason rather than things like "Ew! That's gross!" He said that his office is in room 666, and that he picked it because 1) he finds it hilarious 2) and he believes that it discourages unnecessary visits to his office (under the assumption that most Catholic students would not want to visit an office with that number on the door. A notion which I think is pretty far-fetched and unlikely, but thats just me.)
