[edit] About Bruma
Bruma is the northernmost city in Cyrodiil province. It is located in the Jerall Mountains near the Skyrim border. Its architecture is very Nordic in style as the population mostly consists of Nordic immigrants. Bruma is unique in the way that the northern section of the city is built on four terraces. Houses, the Fighters' Guild and Mages' Guild guildhalls, and a House for Sale can be found on the first three, while Castle Bruma lies on the much larger fourth. To the south lies the Great Chapel of Talos, several inns, and lower-class homes. In the center of the city stands a statue of Tiber Septim, who was the First Emperor of Cyrodiil and who was transformed into the god Talos. The current ruler of County Bruma is Countess Narina Carvain.
[edit] Countess Narina Carvain
Countess Carvain is a very boastful leader with a strong heart. She has a quick temper, but is nevertheless liked by her people. She plays an important role in the game's main questline, as Martin Septim and the protagonist plan on tricking the Mythic Dawn cult into opening a Great Oblivion Gate outside Bruma, (for more information on the main storyline, click here.)
[edit] The Savior of Bruma Statue
After the protagonist completes the Battle of Bruma and Great Gate segments of the main questline, the next time they return to Bruma, they will find a statue of their character has been erected on the third terrace in the north of the city. NPCs also begin to comment on the player's physical similarity to the statue. The statue is wearing the most expensive items the player had in their inventory during the battle-not necessarily what was actually worn in the battle. (For example, if the player carries an enchanted sword worth 5000 drakes, but primarily uses a steel longsword worth considerably less, the statue will be potrayed as wielding the enchanted blade.) The statue has a message engraved into it, memorializing the player's great victory.
