Bruce Bethke

Bruce Bethke is an American author, best know for his 1980 short story, Cyberpunk (Where he coined the term), and Philip K. Dick award-winning novel, Headcrash. He is also responsible for the novel adaptation of Wild Wild West. He lives and works in Minnesota.

Bethke's collected thoughts on the cyberpunk subculture are collected on his website, in an essay entitled "The Etymology of Cyberpunk".
