I propose the following changes to make sure that coverage is complete:

  • Articles such as radio and television should emphasize the technical developments in a field.
  • Business models should fall under broadcasting.
  • Separate programs should get their own articles.

Although I know something about North American broadcasting, I don't know much about European, African, or Asian models or history. Please feel free to fill out as much information as possible.--GABaker

Shouldn't somebody mention that broadcasting originated as an agricultural term referring to a method of sewing seeds? --Ben

[edit] Possible Project

I was looking around Wikipedia and found that most of the few radio-related articles we have here are stubs. So, I thought I might propose a Wikiproject on Radio Broadcasting. I thought maybe this would be a good page to see if there's an interest. If you think it's a good idea or would like to help out leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. [edit] Issues with current version

Somebody removed several sentences from the beginning of the article, and now it looks very odd. I think it needs to be reverted, but I'm not really sure what the intent was. Maybe someone else knows what should be going on here... JByrd 13:02, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Funding

Is there any difference between "radio and television licenses" and "fees charged to all owners of TV sets or radios, regardless of whether they intend to receive that program or not"? Pit-yacker 00:05, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
