Brothers in Rhythm
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Brothers In Rhythm is a house music duo consisting of prolific producers / remixers and DJs Steve Anderson and Dave Seaman. As a duo and individually, they have remixed and/or produced tracks by Janet Jackson, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Kylie Minogue, Garbage, Placebo, Alanis Morissette and many, many others.
As Brothers In Rhythm they hit #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1991 with "Such A Good Feeling" (which was sampled in the 2004 Dance hit "Lola's Theme" by The Shapeshifters). They released in 1994, a single, "Forever And A Day", but this was not very successful in the UK chart, only reaching #51.
TRIVIA
One of their earliest single releases featured pop-soul diva Dina Carroll on vocals. It was entitled "Peace and Harmony" (1990). Once Carroll's solo career had taken off, B.I.R. returned to produce some of her material.
