"Brothers & Sisters" was the first single ever released by English band Coldplay. Recording was completed in four days.
The atmospheric backdrop to B-side "Easy to Please" was actually created by setting up microphones on a wet road outside the studio.
1500 copies of the vinyl single were pressed; it was contained in a special wraparound pictures sleeve.
A newer version of "Brothers & Sisters" appears on the "Trouble" single.
