Broomhill, Glasgow

Broomhill is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow, on the fringes of the West End. It is situated north of the River Clyde, although it is not on that river. It is bounded by Thornwood and Partick to the south, Hyndland to the east, Jordanhill to the north and Whiteinch to the west
The main streets in the district are Crow Road and Broomhill Drive. The latter has a small shopping centre with services including; a Spar mini-market, Pizza Shop, laundrette, DVD rental shop, betting shop and chemist. Transport to the area is supported by bus services and the nearby train stations of Jordanhill railway station and Hyndland railway station. There are also two churches and a primary school.
