Brooklyn Hakoah
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Brooklyn Hakoah was an American soccer club based in Brooklyn, New York that was a member of the reformed American Soccer League.
After one game of the 1948/49 season, financial trouble caused the owners of the Brooklyn Wanderers to sell the club. The new owners took over the team and renamed them the Brooklyn Hakoah.
Just before the 1956/57 season, the club merged with the New York Americans to form the New York Hakoah.
