Brooklyn Amity School (Amity to the students) is a private school that was founded in 1999 by Turkish Businessmen. Brooklyn Amity School's main goal as stated on their website is as follows: "Our main goal is to provide the opportunity for a quality education to meet the varied intellectual, cultural, physical, social and emotional needs of each child so that he/she may become an independent, responsible and productive citizen."

Brooklyn Amity School has recently moved to 1501 Hendrickson Street from 2727 Coney Island Ave, where the school has been operating since 1999. The new facility of Brooklyn Amity School consists of one big gymnasium,can also be used as auditorium, one school library, one cafteria, 3-floor school building including 19 classrooms and 9 offices. The school also has a child care center operating at 2585 Coney Island Ave.

Brooklyn Amity is well-known throughout the community for its success in various competitions. Since the founders of the school are Turkish businessmen, there is Turkish-American majority in the student body.The school currently embodies students from 14 different nationalities.

Brooklyn Amity has achieved many successes in the Science Olympiad competition, Mathcounts competition, Future City competition and a few students who gain admission into one of New York City's Specialized High Schools. In the 2006 Regional Science Olympiad Brooklyn Amity placed fourth out of 22 teams and advanced to the New York State competition. - The medal winners are as follows:
- - Jasmin Lalic and Muhammet Ari (7th grade) received a Gold Medal for Wheeled Vehicle
- - Sefa Engi and Kaan Koseler (8th grade) received a Gold Medal for Meteorology
- - Cem Aytac and Efe Sakizlioglu (6th grade) received a Gold Medal for Rocks and Minerals
- - Nilufer Can and Betul Kalkan (8th grade) received a Silver medal for Sounds of Music
- - Sefa Engi and Kaan Koseler (8th grade) received a Bronze medal for Disease Detectives
- - Ebubekir Ilhan and Mustafa Bekiroglu (6th grade) received a Bronze medal for Balloon Race
- - Aycin Aktas and Serap Sen (8th grade) received a Bronze medal for Can’t Judge a Powder
- - - - So far in Brooklyn Amity's short history, ten students have been selected to attend Specialized High Schools. They are as follows:
