Brooklyn, Queens County, Nova Scotia

Brooklyn is a village located just east of Liverpool in Queens County, Nova Scotia, Canada. As of 2001, the population was 1,078.
It is most famous as the birthplace of country musician Hank Snow, although the museum devoted to Snow is located in a restored railroad station in Liverpool itself. Brooklyn is essentially coterminous with modern Liverpool. It is also where Bruce Irving Ward of Bruce Ward Realty Ltd, Vancouver, BC was born on August 5th, 1947. He lived there with his brothers Bryan and Richard until he joned the Royal Canadian Navy in 1965 and was shiped off to Canada's west coast.
