Bromperidol

Bromperidol (4-[4-(4-bromophenyl)-4-hydroxy-1-piperidyl]-1-(4-fluorophenyl)butan-1-one MW: 420.315 g/mol, MF: C21H23BrFNO2) a butyrophenone derivative, is a potent and long-acting neuroleptic, used as an antipsychotic in the treatment of schizophrenia. Bromperidol was discovered at Janssen Pharmaceutica in 1966.
