Broken Bracelet is the debut album by American singer-songwriter Michelle Branch, released by the independent record label Twin Dragon Records in 2000 (see 2000 in music).

The record was recorded over two weeks in April of 2000, and released on June 1, 2000 prior to her record deal with Maverick Records in December 2000. The story behind Broken Bracelet is a rather strange one. When Michelle was 16, she attended a Lisa Loeb concert. After the concert, she went backstage to meet her idol. Loeb told Michelle that when the bracelet broke, it would be her time to be famous. A year later, Michelle Branch would be famous, after she released her album The Spirit Room, which went on to sell 1.9 million copies in America alone.

Four of the album's eleven tracks ("If Only She Knew", "Sweet Misery", "I'd Rather Be in Love", and "Goodbye to You") were later re-recorded for inclusion on Branch's Maverick Records release The Spirit Room (2001). All tracks were written by Branch and longtime friend Jennifer Hagio, with the exception of "Stewart's Coat", originally by Rickie Lee Jones.
