Brodhead's Bridge Railroad Station
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This train station, MP 18.1, was the stop for many tourists coming up from New York City. This was so because of the many resort homes, along with the Esopus Creek, where people could go swimming, and the nearby communities of Atwood and Olive Bridge.
This station enjoyed a good life of service until the flooding of the Ashokan Reservoir. After that was done, Brodhead's Bridge, along with many other communities and stations, was nothing but a memory, being that it's underwater.
