- Hello Brian. Just dropping you a note to let you know I will no longer be editing the Derek Jeter article. Normally I would propose that we re-work the contentious sentences or paragraphs together but I fear this would not work in this case. [edit] Attended but did not graduate
I updated the section to include other former football players that left early for the draft without graduating. Hopefully this will demonstrate that it is not just Lewis that I was trying to distinguish, but rather all of the players who didn't graduate, sinec we have the distinction on our page. Where have you been? The situation on the Ken Mehlman page is threatening to blow up into a full-scale edit war with a handful of editors intent on disregarding the previous consensus and forcing this nonsense into the article. - BTW- Wanted to let you know that I agree with you on the issue of pasting a discussion that occurred on a user talk page onto the article talk page. I think this triumvirate of ingrates (Asbl, Willmcw, and Katefan) want to try and give the appearance as if this conversation actually took place on the talk page among all members. It's not. It was a private discussion and has no business being pasted onto the article talk page. I've removed it. I'll keep an eye on it, as I'm sure you will too.-Flavius Aetius 19:59, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
