[edit] No Problem

Let me know if I can help out any more. BTW, usually with these comments you put a title at the top, you can do that by putting 2 equal signs around whatever words you want the title to be, like I did with "No Problem". Karmafist 02:07, 17 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to wikipedia

Hi brian, Just wanted to say welcome to wikipedia from another alum of La Grande Boisiere. I'm curious, when would you have graduated there? I graduated in 1998, which is probably close to where you would have graduated. Cheers! Jacoplane 17:41, 17 September 2005 (UTC)

:) The reason I noticed so quickly is because I saw your edit to the ecolint article, which is on my watchlist. Jacoplane 18:23, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
I arrived there in August 91, probably just as you were leaving. BTW if you're writing a comment and wish to indent, use ":" before your sentence. If you use a space you get that weird box thingie like your comment on my userpage has. My parents still live in geneva, so I go there very often. I think i'd hate it if I went back and had to stay in a hotel or something. Jacoplane 18:36, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
Sure, go ahead. I'm not sure when I'll be going there, but I'll make sure I'll think of you when I do. salut! Jacoplane 19:04, 17 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Ahoy Hoy

Eh, goddamn computers. Anyway, yeah, your user page is YOURS. Ultimately the only person who really needs to think it's good enough is you. Look at the history of mine, it's evolved alot over time, and yours will too.

Take a look at some of the user pages. They range from the ornate(Essjay) to the absurd (SPUI) to just plain empty (too many people to count)

And while we're on the subject of User Pages,I figured it'd be important to let you know only two things are inviolate from random editing besides User Pages from what i've seen.

 1. Discussions on policy issues or housekeeping stuff that the moderators/bureaucrats have closed.(Check on the Community Portal)

and

 1. Talk Pages(unless you're a moderator or it's your talk page, and even then it's a touchy situation, just ask Denelson83)

Okie dokie, talk to you later. Also, it's better to contact me on my talk page, my e-mail is swamped right now. Karmafist 01:40, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Disambig links

Hi, I fixed disambig links on your user page. Certain terms have more than one meaning (like Battery, which can refer to a violent assault, or to a device for storing electricity). the link does not take you to a page on either article, but to a disambiguation page which lists the various possible meanings of the term. Most cultural/language identifiers are disambigs - "Russian", "Italian", "Chinese", etc., could mean the language, or could refer to the country of origin, so we point them to the correct article, e.g "I speak Italian", "I am Italian", "I went on a trip to the Italian coast." We generally think it is bad for pages to link to disambig pages, so we try to correct them where we see them. See Wikipedia:Disambiguation pages with links. Cheers! -- BD2412 talk 00:58, 20 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Marcus Patric

Looks to me like a character from some fictional source (maybe a TV show), so I threw a context tag on it, and will revisit in a few days to see if any further information has been provided. I believe it's this guy. By the way, please feel free to post messages to my talk page - it's easier for me to keep track of things that way. Cheers! -- BD2412 talk 01:42, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to Esperanza!

Welcome, Brian1979/Archive 1, to Esperanza, the Wikipedia member association! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. Redwolf24 runs the spam to keep members up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Possibles.

I encourage you to take an active voice in the running of Esperanza. We have a small government system, headed by our Administrator general, Celestianpower, and guided by the Advisory Committee comprised of FireFox, Flcelloguy, Titoxd, and Karmafist. The next set of elections will be in February, and I would be glad to see you vote, or even consider running for a position.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

Cheers, Sango123 (talk) 17:20, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Babel

Hi Brian1979! I was surfing past your user page (actually, I was going to send you the Esperanza welcome message, but Sango123 has as usual been so much quicker than me! :) and I saw that you speak both French and English.

en-Wikipedia has a project called Babel that you might be interested in. This is a way for users to list their language skills, so new users who don't speak English well or have great articles on subjects you're interested in but not in English, will know that they can contact a Wikipedian with those language skills for help, advice or even translation.

The project is called Babel and the instructions are at Wikipedia:Babel. If you don't like userboxes, you can work out the categories that these official boxes link to and list yourself there. You don't have to list all the languages you speak (I only list my very basic Dutch, despite speaking some German and having fair written French) or, indeed, any of them!

I just thought you might be interested. If not, don't worry about it - I'm not recruiting for Babel or anything... as I say, I was just passing by!

Welcome to Esperanza! And happy editing! ➨ REDVERS 20:29, 22 January 2006 (UTC)

Hey Brian. I made this HRC userbox for you. Here

[edit] An Esperanzial note

As I remember, the last spam that was handed out was on the 20th of December last year, so I think it's time for another update. First and foremost, the new Advisory Council and Administrator General have been elected. They consist of myself as Admin General and FireFox, Titoxd, Flcelloguy and Karmafist as the Advisory Council. We as a group met formally for the first time on the 31st of Decembe. The minutes of this meeting can be found at WP:ESP/ACM. The next one is planned for tonight (Sunday 29 January) at 20:30 UTC and the agenda can be found at WP:ESP/ACM2.

In other news, Karmafist has set up a discussion about a new personal attack policy, which it can be found here. Other new pages include an introductory page on what to do when you sign up, So you've joined Esperanza... and a welcome template: EA-welcome (courtesy of Bratsche). Some of our old hands may like to make sure they do everything on the list as well ;) Additionally, the userpage award program proposal has become official is operational: see Wikipedia:Esperanza/User Page Award to nominate a userpage or volunteer as a judge. Also see the proposed programs page for many new proposals and old ones that need more discussion ;)

Other than that, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and wish you an Esperanzially good new WikiYear :D Thank you! --Celestianpower háblame 16:57, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia Project

Hi, my name is Federico (alias Pain) and I am creating a section for nominating th best user page, I was wondering if you were interested in joining the project.

The project has just started, and we need help to spread the word and ameliorate it.

Wikipedia:Votes_for_best_User_page

Best regards, Federico Pistono 14:26, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding the Best User Page Project

Let us try an experiment. Until further notice, the voting system will be open, using the method described in the Guidelines. This will make us understand how reliable the current system is and whether the project has a real possibility to expand into hundrends of users or not.

All users are encounaged to display the BestUserPage banner on their User Page.

All members all encouraged to display the BUP banner in their User Page, and also notify that the project has started.

We will refer to the votes for this first session as "March 2006" in the archive.

Federico Pistono 19:43, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Another Esperanzial note...

Hi again Esperanzians! Well, since our last frolic in the realms of news, the Advisory Council has met twice more (see WP:ESP/ACM2 and WP:ESP/ACM3). As a result, the charter has been ammended twice (see here for details) and all of the shortcuts have been standardised (see the summary for more details). Also of note is the Valentines ball that will take place in the Esperanza IRC channel on the 14th of February (tomorrow). It will start at 6pm UTC and go on until everyone's had enough! I hope to see you all there! Also, the spamlist has been dissolved - all Esperanzians will now recieve this update "newsletter".

The other major notice I need to tell you about is the upcoming Esperanza Advisory Council Elections. These will take place from 12:00 UTC on February 20th to 11:59 UTC on February 27th. The official handing-over will take place the following day. Candidates are able to volunteer any time before the 20th, so long as they are already listed on the members list. Anyone currently listed on the memberlist can vote. In a change since last time, if you have already been a member of the leadership, you may run again. Due to the neutrality precident, I will not vote for anyone.

Yours, as ever, Esperanzially,

[edit] Esperanza Newsletter, Issue #1

Reach out is a program aimed at allowing users to bring issues that they have had in Wikipedia to a listening, sympathetic and caring audience:
"No one can know how we feel if we do not say. We cannot expect to get understanding if we do not ask for it. No one will dispute that sometimes life's issues are too much for one person. It is fair to say that sometimes Wikipedia's problems fall under the same heading. This is a place where you can bring the bruises that can sometimes be got on this project for attention."
The Stress alerts program aims at identifying users who are stressed, alerting the community of thier stress and works in tandem with the Stressbusters at trying to identify causes of stress and eliminating them.
Note from the editor
Welcome to this new format of the Esperanza Newsletter, which came about during the last Advisory Council meeting - we hope you like it! The major changes are that each month, right after the Council meeting, this will be sent out and will include two featured programs and a sum up of the meeting. Also, it will be signed by all of the Advisory Council members, not just Celestianpower. Have an Esperanzial end of March, everyone!
 1. Future meetings are to be held monthly, not fortnightly as before.
 2. Bans and Access level changes (apart from autovoice) in the IRC channel are to be reported at the new log.
 3. In the IRC channel, there is going to be only one bot at a time.
 4. The charter requires members to have 150 edits and 2 weeks editing. Why this is the case will be clarified.
 5. A new Code of Conduct will be drafted by JoanneB and proposed to the Esperanza community.
 6. The NPA reform idea is to be dropped officially.
 7. Charter ammendments are to be discussed in future, not voted on.
 8. The Advisory Council is not going to be proposed to be expanded by the Advisory Council themselves, if others want to propose it, they will listen.
Signed...

[edit] Wikipedia_talk:Censorship

A watered-down version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you knidly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 10:22, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Esperanza Newsletter, Issue #2

The Barnstar Brigade is a new program aimed at giving more very deserving yet unappreciated users barnstars. It will officially start on 2006-04-09, but signing up is encouraged before this date:
"Here in Wikipedia, there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go un-appreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go un-noticed. Sadly, these editors often leave the project. As Esperanzians, we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. A project the size of Wikipedia has thousands of editors, so there are plenty of people out there who deserve recognition, one just has to find them. The object of this program is not to flood editors with Barnstars, but to seek out people who deserve them, and make them feel appreciated."
The Stress alerts program aims at identifying users who are stressed, alerting the community of thier stress and works in tandem with the Stressbusters at trying to identify causes of stress and eliminating them.
Information
Welcome to the second issue of the new format Esperanza Newsletter - we hope you still like it! This week, it was delivered diligently by our new dogsbody. MiszaBot (run by Misza13): any execution complaints should go to him. Content comments should be directed at the Esperanza talkpage. Thanks!
 1. The next elections: Approval voting as before and, also as before, an previous leadership member can run. Please submit your name for voting in the relevant section of this page. Voting starts on 2006-04-23 and ends on 2006-04-30. There will be three places up for grabs as KnowledgeOfSelf is leaving Wikipedia. Please see the previously linked page for full details.
 2. The Code of Conduct is now ready for extensive discussion! Specific comments should go to the Code of Conduct talk page, discussion of having one at all should be directed to the main Esperanza talk page.
 3. The current process for accepting proposals for new programs has been deemed fine. All Advisory Council members and the Admin Gen are to endevour to be bold when viewing discussion. If they feel that consensus has been reached, they will act accordingly.
A plea from the editor...
The propsed programs page is terribly underused! Please leave any comments, good or bad, on the page, to help us determine the membership's thoughts on the ideas there.
Signed...

[edit] Ruwi, Oman

Hi Brian. I can't quite figure out why you added a speedy deletion tag to the Ruwi article. The article does not meet the criteria for any sort of deletion so I removed the tag. I will be researching tihs place within the next few days and will be greatly expanding the article. As we have articles on city sections such as Greenwich Village, SoHo and Powelton Village we can also have an article on this section of Muscat, Oman. I would love to have your assistance in researching this matter. I hope you have a teriffic day. Stanley011 21:22, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Old Skool Esperanzial note

Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No no no no no!

Why have you made this edit [1], linking Mistress to such a revolting expression as "Intimate relationship". It's so horrible I can hardly bring myself to say it. Intimate means in most societies being close friends, sharing intimacies, secrets confidences, i.e. your closest platonic friends. A "mistress" has full blown "sexual intercourse" with the man whose mistress she is; not the same thing at all as an Intimate relationship. Please amend the edits accordingly. Giano | talk 21:00, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

 • Brian, You have not offended me at all, beyond the fact I cannot bear mealy mouthed bourgeois phrases. One can have a purely platonic intimate relationship with one's best friend regardless of their sex or one's sexual orientation - It is the person one is closest too in terms of confidences. A Mistress (in the context of the edits you have mad) is a Sexual partner , that is unchallengeable fact. That I think is your mistake. Giano | talk 21:24, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Esperanza Newsletter, Issue #3

The Administrator Coaching program is a program aimed at preparing Wikipedians for Adminship or helping them understand the intricacies of Wikipedia better. Recently, changes have been made to the requirements of coachees. Please review them before requesting this service.
This would be something like the Welcoming Committee, but for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. Some might like suggestions about how to learn vandal patrol, or mentoring on taking an article to featured status, or guidance with a proposal they plan to make at the Village Pump, for example. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.
Stressbusters
The Stressbusters are a subset of Esperanza aiming to investigate the causes of stress. New eyes on the situation are always welcome!
Note from the editor
As always, MiszaBot handled this delivery. Thank you! Also, congratulations go to Pschemp, Titoxd and Freakofnurture for being elected in the last elections! An Esperanzial May to all of the readership!
 1. Posting logs of the Esperanza IRC channel are explicitly banned anywhere. Violation of this rule results in deletion and a ban from the channel.
 2. A disclaimer is going to be added to the Esperanza main page. We are humans and, as such, are imperfect.
 3. Various revisions have been made to the Code of Conduct. Please see them, as the proposal is ready to be ratified by the community and enacted. All members will members to have to re-confirm their membership after accepting the Code of Conduct.
 4. Referendums are to be held on whether terms of AC members should be lengthened and whether we should abolish votes full stop.
 5. Admin Coaching reform is agreed upon.

[edit] Sandra Milo

Hey. Why are the links redundant? These are links to movies Milo appeared in (only the most important ones, by the way) and other actors she interacted with. As far as I know, every biographic entry in Wikipedia contains links to works, people, places and other objects relevant to a person’s life. Thanks, Ron g

Oops, my apologies: I didn’t see these movies were mentioned at the top of the article. I’ve reverted to your change.

[edit] i need help

Yo dude, I'm new on Wikipedia, and in my (very little) spare time right now I'm trying to design a decent user page. I was wondering, where do you get things to put on your user page, like those bars about yourself (I don't know what they're called)? I picked a random person to ask this... sorry --BigShock 23:57, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks... question #2: how do I get my Babel box to align ahead of my other boxes on the right? Every time I put it before the other boxes in the coding, the other boxes end up to the left of the Babel box--BigShock 14:54, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A short Esperanzial update

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.

As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

[edit] Deepwater

Not sure. This is just a personal preference - but I always edit by release date. I.e. in the case of Lucas Black, Killer Diller was released before Fast and Furious, and Deepwater will be released after (a film festival wouldn't necessarily qualify as a release). Again, that is just a personal preference and I have no idea how it's supposed to be done policy-wise, or if there even is one. Mad Jack 18:12, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. I usually find it best to organize by US release date (biased there, I guess - but most of the actor articles I work on are American anyway). Because, if you, say, get something like 5 films a year for an actor, you're left with no choice but to organize them chronologically. Mad Jack 02:33, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Heh, why thank you, I do try! I'm a big fan of sixes myself. :P ~ZytheTalk to me! 16:16, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
I actually used to have a 5 up, because I considered the fact that I've been with four women in my life as 'incidentally heterosexual', but I thought about it and changed it...2 of the 4 were drunken mistakes, and a third ended up being a mistake...only the last was really thought out and purposeful and meaningful, because it was gfor my son. Ah well, thus I'm a 6!-Bri 16:26, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, it's way more confusing with me and I wish it wasn't. I wish I could be one of those people who "just know" but I don't. Sometimes I like one more than the other. Sometimes I contemplate I may be straighter than my straight mates and that weirds it out. Sometimes I can be repulsed by an individual and it makes me re-evaluate whether I not I like their entire gender. Meh, it goes back and forth. So I can be quite happy to identify as gay in situations or as straight, but I don't think a lot of people understand that because they see the three terms as mutually exclusive. ~ZytheTalk to me! 16:32, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I was going to start the article on it, but you can go right ahead, I don't know when I'd get around to it. :-) Jesse 23:28, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Just wondering: I've seen the title about 17 different ways. "Die Mommie Die" on a few websites, "Die, Mommy, Die!" on Charles Busch's website, etc. "Die Mommie Die!" is what's on IMDb, and it also appears that way on the cover. This is all semantics, but regardless, there are a few redirects to make; which one do you think should be title of the real page? Jesse 21:12, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: Userboxes

I actually stole them from someone else's page-- they're handmade so they're not templated, so you'll need to put the raw code on your page, here it is, just replace my name with yours (and the states):

<div style="float: left; border:solid darkblue 1px; margin: 1px;">
style="width: 45px; height: 45px; background: white; text-align: center; font-size: {{{5|{14}}}}pt; color: {black};" | '
style="font-size: {8}pt; padding: 4pt; line-height: 1.25em; color: {black};" | {} the American Revolutionary War from the state of Virginia.
}</div>
<div style="float: left; border:solid darkblue 1px; margin: 1px;">
style="width: 45px; height: 45px; background: white; text-align: center; font-size: {{{5|{14}}}}pt; color: {black};" | '
style="font-size: {8}pt; padding: 4pt; line-height: 1.25em; color: {black};" | {} the American Civil War from the states of Virginia and Alabama.
}</div>

Enjoy! plange 21:26, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Oh, and for the Rev War one, if not from Virginia, you could also change TJ's photo with someone from your state (but of course TJ is a good representation of the Rev War in general) plange 21:28, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requesting your opinion

I wrote the article Dr. Jose Celso Barbosa Post Office Building Designation Act, the first bill in history that contains an article from Wikipedia. It appeared on DYK and right away somebody "tags" it for deletion. I inviteyou to express yourself here:Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dr. Jose Celso Barbosa Post Office Building Designation Act. Thank you Tony the Marine 16:28, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Rationales for Movie Sex and Nudity

Well, I made it into a redirect because it is at least a probable typo (capitalizing the title), so this way someone typing that will just end up at the right place, and it will also keep it from being recreated when the article already exists at the target. -Goldom ‽‽‽ 00:20, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] August Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: To-Do List
The Esperanza To-Do List is a place where you may list any request, big or small, for assistance. If you need help with archiving your usertalk, for example, all you need to do is list it here and somebody will help you out. Likewise, if you need help with some area of editing on Wikipedia, list it here! Again, any matter, trivial or not, can be placed on this page. However, all matters listed on this page must not be of an argumentative nature. You do not need to be a member of Esperanza (or this program) to place or fulfill requests on this page. If you don't have any requests, consider coming by and fulfilling a few! This program has not been very active, but has lots of potential!
What's New?
In order to help proposed programs become specific enough to make into full-fledged programs, the In development section of the proposals page has been created. Proposals that are promising, but need to be organized in more detail are listed here. Please take a look at what is there, and help the proposals turn into programs.
To improve both the layout and text of the front page, in an attempt to clarify the image of Esperanza, the front page is going to have some redesigning take place. Please take your creative minds to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Front page redesign to brainstorm good ideas.
Many thanks to MiszaBot, courtesy of Misza13, for delivering the newsletter.
 1. In order to make sure all users who join Esperanza are welcomed, a list of volunteers who are willing to welcome new Esperanzians is at Wikipedia:Esperanza/Members#Esperanza_welcomers. Please add yourself if you are interested; we want to make sure all new Esperanza members are welcomed!
 2. The In development section of the proposals page has been created.
 3. Proposals page: Some proposals have been moved to the aforementioned "In development" section, some have been left as a proposal, and others have been archived. For those proposals that were a good idea but didn't necessarily constitute a program, General Esperanzial Actions has been created.
 4. Two small pieces of charter reform will be decided on in a straw poll at Wikipedia talk:Esperanza/Governance. One involves filling the position of any councillors who may leave, the other involves reforming the charter.
 5. Until cooperation with the Kindness Campaign is better defined, it remains as a proposed program.
 6. There is a page for discussing the front page redesign.

Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to Wikipedia:Esperanza/Newsletter/Opt Out List.

[edit] Tatum

Oh, you should absolutely remove unsourced stuff like dating/sexuality/etc. I'm not sure where the whole "bisexual" thing is from or where it started, but I haven't seen a reliable source for it. If you're unsure about something you could always just Google it. Mad Jack 18:49, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for the Arlene Raven Article

Brian, Did you know her? I just started editing on Wikipedia. I created the Woman's Building article and one on Sheila de Bretteville. Hadn't gotten around to getting Arlene written and then I found out she died. I'm so saddened by her death. I knew her fairly well. She really helped make visible the work of lesbian artists. My partner Cheri and I have twin daughters, now 12 years old. Arelene was so supportive and loved meeting them a few years ago. Anyway, just curious about whether you knew her in some way. The Widipedia community is so interesting to me-- why do so many volunteers spend so much time editing and creating this really amazing resource. I corrected a few typos and will probably add some stuff to her article. Sue Maberry 02:20, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tom Cruise - possibly a Klinefelter

Hi, I notice that you deleted my question that perhaps Tom Cruise was a Klinefelter. This was not a joke, and I was being perfectly serious about the question. A question is not a statement, its just putting it out there. I am a klinefelter and know all the symptoms well. Unfortunately I cannot cite references against a supposition, as someone would need to have supposed it first, and there are not that many klinefelters out there who know they are a klinefelter, i.e. 99.7% (and I can cite that - from Dr Patricia Jacobs research), never know. So about 1:650 males have it - but only 1:18000 know they have it. I think he knows he has it). I also know that Tom Cruise's legal eagles swoop on anything negative spoken about him that can not be independently verified. Klinefelter's Syndrome is not necessarily negative though - and I don't view it as such. It's often misrepresented - even by the medical fraternity. There are very few ardent researchers espousing the positive merits of being a klinefelter, and I can almost count them on one hand. Anyway as suggested by your good self I'm putting up a statement in Talk. Can I put the question back in ? Joshannon 22:23, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
