[edit] Vandal warning about blanking Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion nomination

Please note that the blanking of a nomination on a discussion page, as you did to the nomination of Image:Chevaline deployment sequence.gif on the Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion/2006 December 9 page, is considered vandalism. You are welcome to comment on the nomination, but it is extreamly poor form to delete a nomination by another person, especially when it is your image that is being nominated. I have reversed the deletion and left a note. If you have any questions, please let me know.--Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 20:19, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Misconduct

You left the following message on User talk:Notinasnaid: What there appears to be though is a campaign of harrassment and blatant, demonstrable lies, possibly mounted partly from the IP addresses and the computers of the University of Göttingen. The President of the University, Prof Dr Kurt von Figura, has been contacted, and I understand that inquiries are to be made to establish the truth. This is an extremely serious violation of Wikipedia policies. Off-wiki harassment of other users is strictly forbidden under the no personal attacks policy. As a first step, I'd like to see you apologize to User:Flammingo for your actions. | Mr. Darcy talk 01:55, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Please also do not reveal personal information about other editors. Contributors have a right to editing anonymously should they choose. Thank you. Rockpocket 02:07, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Do not remove warnings from your talk page. And we're still waiting for answers as to your conduct vis-a-vis User:Flammingo. | Mr. Darcy talk 03:15, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:River Test pollution.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:River Test pollution.JPG. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. JDtalk 11:59, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
