British Lions
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Two rugby teams may be known as the British Lions, though it is not the current correct title for either:
- The British and Irish Lions are a touring side playing rugby union.
- The Great Britain side, nicknamed "The Lions" are a full test-playing side in rugby league.
Lions (Panthera leo) are not found wild in Britain.
- The British Lions were a short-lived rock band, formed in 1978 out of the ashes of Mott the Hoople.
