Brisbane Forest Park, which is located on part of the D'Aguilar Range, is a large nature reserve on the western boundary of the City of Brisbane. The main entrance to the Park is located in the Brisbane suburb of The Gap. Included in the park is an area and education centre for Australian wildlife, including a large walk-through aviary with several species of Australian native birds, and a special section for Australian nocturnal animals.

Species of Australian wildlife at the park include a Platypus, Sugar Glider, Wallabies, Pademelons, Wombat, Yellow-bellied Glider, Spotted Quoll, Brush-tailed Phascogale, Snakes, Lizards, Turtles and fish.

The Brisbane Forest Park is accessible by car, as well as by Brisbane Transport's BUZ route 385 to The Gap from the CBD, hourly during off-peak times, when Brisbane Forest Park is the final stop (at all other times, Enoggera Reservoir is the final stop on the bus route).
