Brinkworth (33°41′S 138°24′E, postcode 5464) is a town in the Mid North region of South Australia with a current population of approximately 200. It is 32 km north of the regional centre of Clare.

The Brinkworth area was first settled in the 1860s and the town laid out in 1892. Brinkworth is named after the early landowner, George Brinkworth. Later a railway line from Adelaide passed through the town to Gladstone in the north. A junction for a line through Snowtown to Kadina and Wallaroo was also set in place. Both lines are now both closed.

Brinkworth is in the Wakefield Regional Council local government area, the South Australian House of Assembly electoral district of Frome and the Australian House of Representatives Division of Grey.
