[edit] Little known facts about Brinke include:

  • Was "discovered" by accident while going to a modeling assignment by a producer, who cast her as an extra.
  • Was once the subject of a Jeopardy answer, "Brinke Stevens is known by this semi-rhyming title." (Question: What is a Scream Queen?)
  • Stated in a 1991 interview on the dvd for DEMON SEX, "I've been on soap operas. I did a year and a half on Days of Our Lives."
  • Often mis-credited as acting in the 1972 film Necromancy. She appeared in scenes shot for the video reissue of the film in 1983.
  • Is an uncredited extra in two scenes of the cult classic, This Is Spinal Tap. They liked her so much in the concert scene that she was called back as a featured groupie for the band's hotel room scene afterwards.
  • If Brinke ever gets around to writing her autobiography, she has already picked its title: Twilight Descends over Los Feliz. The opening line will be: "In the shadow of the Observatory, twilight descends over Los Feliz." [citation needed]
