Bring It on Down

"Bring It on Down" is the seventh track on the debut album Definitely Maybe by British rock group Oasis. The track is pure rock & roll tour de force with thumping drums and unrelenting distorted guitar riffs. Written by guitarist Noel Gallagher, the track originated as an instrumental warm up exercise for band members before rehearsing until lead singer Liam Gallagher suggested lyrics be added to the tune.
The song remains a live favourite amongst both fans and band members due to its unrelenting beat and technical brilliance reminiscent of the Guns N' Roses classic You Could Be Mine. Oddly enough if both tracks are played simultaneously, although featuring different notes, the intro sequence, verse, bridge and chorus all match up perfectly.
