The Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band was formed in 1881. It is based in Brighouse, in Calderdale in West Yorkshire.

In 1977, the band reached number 2 in the charts with their recording of "The Floral Dance". It was arranged for the band by Derek Broadbent. See Furry Dance.
