Bridgeland, Texas is a community in unincorporated Harris County, Texas to the northwest of Houston bordered by Mallard Lake and Cypress Creek.

Most pupils east of the Grand Parkway will attend schools in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, while some will attend schools in the Katy Independent School District.
Pupils west of the Grand Parkway will attend schools in the Waller Independent School District [1].
[edit] Universities and colleges
Pupils living in the Cy-Fair portion are in the taxation zone for the North Harris Montgomery Community College District. The Cy-Fair College is nearby Bridgeland.
Pupils living in the Katy ISD portion are in the zone for the Houston Community College System, albeit the residents are not taxed and pay higher tuitions.

The Rouse Company is in charge of the community development and Brown and Gay Engineers, Inc. is in charge of land development of Bridgeland.
