Briceville, Tennessee

Briceville is an unincorporated town in Anderson County, Tennessee. It is included in the "Knoxville, Tennessee Metropolitan Statistical Area".

The town's economy was historically based on coal mining, and the town was the site of two famous incidents, the Coal Creek War which grew out of a lockout of coal miners in 1891, and the Fraterville Mine Disaster of 1902.
